Christmas is a time to spend with family and friends. A holiday to be shared. At least, that is for most people. 

After a long day at work on Christmas Eve, Holly is on her way home to spend the rest of her birthday and Christmas alone in her apartment. The last thing she expected as she walked into the lift of her apartment building, was to end up being stuck in there for hours. Especially with the most gorgeous resident of the building. 

Nicholas had just arrived home after visiting his family before they headed off on their Christmas holiday. Resigned to the fact he would be spending Christmas and his birthday alone; he didn’t anticipate sharing or being stuck in a lift with the beautiful woman who lives in the apartment across the way. 

When a freak accident knocks out the power in the building, Holly and Nicholas are all alone, with only emergency lighting and each other for company. Two strangers, thrown together on Christmas Eve, awaiting rescue from a stuck lift. 

Not exactly a situation that should lead to love. Or could it?
